Help Us Build What’s Possible

Rainbow Flight To Freedom’s work depends on people and organizations who believe LGBTQIA+ individuals facing displacement, uncertainty, and difficult transitions deserve meaningful support and a path forward.

There are many ways to help. Financial contributions, grants, sponsorships, professional expertise, strategic partnerships, community resources, and practical assistance can all help RFTF expand what we are able to provide.

Support Our Mission

Every contribution helps RFTF build the resources necessary to assist LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating displacement, uncertainty, and the challenges of beginning again.
Your support can take many forms, including individual donations, recurring giving, major gifts, donor-supported programs and services, and other financial contributions.

Funding RFTF’s Future

Financial support can take many forms. RFTF welcomes opportunities to work with funders, foundations, businesses, organizations, and individuals who share our commitment to helping LGBTQIA+ people move toward greater safety, stability, and opportunity.

Grants & Foundation Partnerships

RFTF welcomes conversations with foundations and institutional funders whose priorities align with LGBTQIA+ support, human dignity, displacement, community integration, and related humanitarian needs.
Potential partners may include private foundations, family foundations, charitable trusts, corporate foundations, institutional funders, grantmaking organizations, and other philanthropic organizations.

Sponsorship Opportunities

RFTF welcomes businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in providing financial support that helps strengthen and expand our work.
Sponsorship opportunities may support programs and initiatives, outreach, educational efforts, community activities, or other specific areas of RFTF’s work as opportunities are developed.

Build the Network

RFTF believes meaningful support is strongest when organizations and professionals work together. By building trusted partnerships, we can help connect people with specialized expertise, established services, and opportunities that complement RFTF’s work.

Strategic & Professional Partners

RFTF is building relationships with qualified independent professionals who can provide specialized expertise and services that complement our work.
Potential partners may include immigration attorneys and legal professionals, healthcare and mental health professionals, social workers, translators and interpreters, employment and career professionals, businesses, employers, educational institutions, and other qualified service providers.
RFTF may connect individuals with qualified independent professionals but does not itself provide legal, medical, mental-health, or other licensed professional services.

Community & Organizational Partners

RFTF works to develop relationships with established organizations and community partners whose services, experience, and resources can complement our work.
Potential partners may include LGBTQIA+ organizations, nonprofits, community and social-service organizations, affirming faith communities, universities and colleges, businesses, employers, and local or regional service organizations.
RFTF does not need to provide every service itself. By building a strong network of trusted partners, we can help connect people with resources, expertise, and opportunities that already exist.

Other Ways to Help

Not every contribution has to be financial or professional. Practical assistance, trusted referrals, useful resources, and volunteer support can all help strengthen RFTF’s ability to serve people and build connections within the community.

Housing & Practical Support

Practical needs can make a difficult transition even more challenging. RFTF welcomes connections and resources that may help individuals move toward greater stability and independence.
Helpful resources may include housing leads and short-term accommodation resources, transportation assistance, furniture and household necessities, employment connections, community orientation, and other practical support.
RFTF may help identify housing leads and resources but does not guarantee or directly provide housing.

Referrals & Resources

You can help RFTF strengthen its network by sharing trusted organizations, professionals, programs, services, and community resources that may benefit the people we serve.
Helpful referrals may include an affirming organization, a qualified professional, a useful program or service, a housing or community resource, or an introduction to a potential partner.

Volunteer With RFTF

Volunteers can play an important role in helping RFTF grow its capacity, strengthen its outreach, and support the work happening behind the scenes.
Opportunities may include administrative assistance, research, communications, outreach, local assistance, project support, and other skills or expertise that can contribute to RFTF’s mission.

There’s a Place for You in This Work.

Whether you can contribute financially, provide professional expertise, open the door to a new partnership, share valuable resources, or simply give your time, your involvement can help RFTF build a stronger network of support.
Let’s start a conversation.
