Sometimes the hardest part is knowing where to begin.
RFTF works personally with individuals to better understand their circumstances, identify immediate priorities, explore available resources, and determine practical next steps.
We help people navigate unfamiliar systems, connect with appropriate organizations and professionals, and find credible information and resources that may help them move forward.
Travel & Transition Support
Active — Limited Availability
For selected individuals undertaking lawful travel or transition to the United States, RFTF may provide practical preparation, planning, and support.
Depending on individual circumstances and available resources, assistance may include pre-arrival preparation, travel planning, U.S. orientation, transportation and temporary housing resources, communication needs, and connections with appropriate community and professional services.
RFTF does not obtain visas, guarantee admission to the United States, or provide immigration legal representation.
Community Connection & Individual Support

RFTF helps individuals identify resources and connections that can contribute to a safe, stable, and increasingly independent life.
These connections may include LGBTQIA+ community organizations, healthcare, housing resources, employment and education resources, transportation, technology and communication, and everyday orientation to life in the United States.
